Key Words: Soy Isoflavones, Soy Foods

The focus is to investigate the most widely used botanical products, which have phytoestrogenic activities, for their role in prostate cancer prevention via regulation of the Hedgehog-signaling pathway both in vivo and in vitro. The overall goal is to explore the protective effect of soy lunasin and to examine the molecular mechanisms involved in this protection with emphasis on the Hedgehog-signaling pathways.
